Description
This is a barnstorming Bourbon from the Willett Distillery, in fact it’s our favourite! The Whisky is aged for a minimum of 12 years in charred oak barrels before release, which for a Bourbon is huge, hence the ‘XO’ or extra-old. The result is a dense, full-bodied dram with complex notes of toasted oak, sweet vanilla, brown sugar, wintery spice and caramel. At 53.5% this is not for a Bourbon beginner or the faint hearted!
