Ruby-red in colour with intense aromas, the Primitivo brings a delicate fragrance woven from notes of rich red fruits such as cherries and plums, with sweet spic and vanilla notes from the extended aging in oak barrels. The Negroamaro element of the blend adds an expressive, rich and complex aromatic bouquet with spicy notes of freshly cracked black pepper and a touch of wild thyme. The palate is full-bodied, soft and velvety with perfectly integrated tannins and a long, fruit filled finish.
