Ravanals ‘Gran Reserva’ has to be one of the best examples of South American Chardonnay we ever tasted. Full bodied, rich and beautifully structured with layers of tropical fruit, toffee, coconut and even a touch of banana. The wine is fermented in oak barrels providing a wonderful golden tint and a subtle hum of vanilla lead spice on the finish. We think this wine would pair perfectly with rich, creamy chicken dishes or mature cheeses.
