Description
One of the worlds most unique wines, certainly from a production stand point. Ramon Ramos use a method called ‘Rotonage’ to rotate the bottles 180-degrees in a single motion it then spends 9 months in oak barrels. The variety used is the Doña Blanca Malvasía, a rare indigenous grape to Spain and Portugal. The vineyards are extremely old and yields are very small, the resulting wine is rich, complex and intense with fragrant notes of ripe tropical fruit combined with toasty notes of sweet oak and a whiff of smoke on the finish. – Please note that availability is now very limited.
