Laureatus Albarino (Spain)
Grown in Rias Baixas, a coastal region shaped by Atlantic breezes. The producer began as a family fishing business and now crafts wines designed to complement seafood and local cuisine.Grapes are hand selected for balance, then wholebunch pressed gently to protect freshness and natural acidity. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel, preserving varietal aromatics before blending and cold stabilisation. Shows ripe citrus, green apple and pear with subtle fennel notes on the nose. The palate delivers pineapple and mango alongside crisp acidity and measured weight. The finish remains persistent and poised, with fruit clarity and a lightly savoury edge. World Class!

White Tempranillo is the ideal candidate when you’re looking to explore wines outside of the more commonly found grape varieties and offers up sensational flavours as well as sensational value. In terms of style, Ilurce have hit the nail on the head with their white Rioja, it’s vibrant and fresh but with a a creaminess that adds really character to the wine. The flavours of ripe tropical fruit and fruit filled pastry cover the palate before a streak of cleansing lemon acidity cuts through on the finish. Excellent work from Ilurce!
