Dark red colour with pretty purple hues. On the nose it is powerful, yet delicate, with intense aromas of red and black fruits and spices, a delicate wooded overtone appears too, stunning. The palate is supple and powerful with more deep dark fruits on a bed of soft, juicy red berry fruit before a luscious, spiced almost wintery finish.
Montecierzo Emergente Roble | Navarra, Spain
An alluring blend of Tempranillo, Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Montecierzos ‘Emergente’ is crafted in Navarra which boarders the Basque Country in Northern Spain. This multi award winning wine represents the amazing value on offer when you venture off the beaten track and away from the most prominent wine making regions. Full bodied and rich but beautifully balanced from the moment it touches the palate with intense red fruit, a touch of blueberry and blackberry sitting alongside purple florals and aromatic warming spice. The finish is long and incredibly soft with a touch of crisp acidity to finish everything off to perfection.
Pucari 1827 | Moldova
Purcari 1827 Pinot Noir – a delicate wine, like fine silk. Obtained from hand-picked and selected grapes, vinified according to traditional methods, from the carbonised, loamy-sandy black earth soil of the Purcari microzone (south-eastern part of Moldova). Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months. A bouquet with complex aromas of strawberries, violets and raspberries. The palate is velvety, full and persistent with pretty purple fruit, ripe red berry and a subtle note of woody spice.
