Description
A striking Bordeaux blend from Labri. Their magnificent ‘Affinity’ bottling is a combination of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc with each component separately vinified and matured. Barrel selection for the blend occurred after 18 months of maturation 10% new French oak. The result is a wonderfully refined red with plush notes of raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant before being brushed with a savoury touch of mocha a subtly spice oak. The palate is velvety smooth and the finish incredibly long. A very fine wine that easily competes with European rivals at much higher price points.
