This stunning sparkling Chenin Blanc is produced by Domaine de la Rouletière, a boutique winery located in the heart of some of the most sought-after slopes in Vouvray. Founded more than 100 years ago, it is owned by the Gilet family, wine-growers for no less than five generations. Owner and expert winemaker Jean-Marc Gilet farms the 27 hectare vineyard sustainably, respecting the environment and the terroir. The domain possesses a magnificent two storey cellar that has been carved out by the Gilet family over the generations. If you’ve not tried sparkling Vouvray before, this is the perfect place to start. Dry, wonderfully fresh and soft with concentrated notes of ripe white fruits, lemon citrus and kiwi on a bed of fine, elegant bubbles. The finish is long and bright with more subtle tropical fruits.
