Description
Pinot Nero, also known as Pinot Noir, is one of the most difficult red-berried grapes to grow and vinify, as it requires particular climatic conditions in order to best express itself in the vineyard, but is capable of producing wines of great class and elegance. Italo Cescon have managed to harness this awkward variety and produce a wine of sheer elegance and one of the best Italian Pinot Noirs we’ve ever tasted. Light-medium bodied with a plethora of small berry fruit covering the palate before a very gentle wave aromatic rose begins to emerge. The finish is persistent and continues to develop with a more herbaceous, spicier element unfolding. Pure class, Pinot Noir at its refined best.
