Italo Cescon Muller Thurgau

£19.49

Müller Thurgau is an aromatic white grape variety created in the 19th century by the Swiss winemaker Hermann Muller through pollinations of Riesling Renano, Silvaner and Chasselas, it’s grown mostly in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige. This is a wine most will never have even heard of before, and probably wont ever come across, which is a real shame, because it’s brilliant! Especially this one from Italo Cescon, fresh, delicate and complex with notes of peach, rosehip and melon followed by floral elderflower and aromatic sage. The flavours just go on and on, we think this would be best suited to a seafood Risotto.
