If you haven’t experienced ‘ice wine’ before (a type of dessert wine produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine) the this from Henry Pelham is as about as good a place to start as any, it’s brilliant!
Very, very intense, rich and wonderfully complex with rich, sweet layers of mango, pineapple and honey. Despite the intensity, there is still impeccable balance and poise with fresh notes of ripe citrus coming through on the lengthy finish. Our advice would be to serve along side ripe, strong cheeses for a flavour sensation like no other!
