Astounding value for money from Quinta da Pedra Cavada. Produced in the Douro region of Northern Portugal their Reserva is one of the best we’ve had from this beautiful country in a very long time. Made using a traditional Portuguese blend of only the finest Douro grapes the wine is partially aged in oak to add further layers of complexity. Full bodied and super smooth with a dense texture and luscious flavours of cherry and red berry fruit, warming Mediterranean spice and a hint of vanilla lead oak. The finish is long, silky and complex with more red fruits coating the palate. This one has to find its way in to your wine rack!
