Description
Château de Tiregand is the top producer in Pécharmant, which is a small settlement within the Bergerac appellation situated on the northern bank of the Dordogne River. Their blend is predominantly comprised of Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec playing a supporting role. It’s a delicious, full-bodied and fruit driven style of Bordeaux with tons of ripe dark fruits, plump cherry and plum sitting on a backdrop of subtle oak spice. This is a wine that will certainly age well over the next 5-10 years but we think it’s drinking beautifully right now.
