This is a rare hybrid of Palo Cortado that combines the delicate aroma of an Amontillado with the rich, full-bodied, and oxidative characteristics of an Oloroso. Layered and complex the palate is rich with almond, roasted hazelnuts, coffee beans, and dried fruit, with a final dollop of orange marmalade on a long, saline finish. This is truly magnificent stuff from one sherry’s finest producers.
