Its origins trace to founder Mario Ravanal, one of Chile’s pioneering enologists, whose passion for viticulture and hands-on approach established the estate’s reputation for quality; today his children and grandchildren continue the family legacy, blending tradition with modern winemaking techniques. The vineyards benefit from the excellent terroir and climate of Colchagua—warm days, cool mountain breezes and significant day-night temperature swings—that help produce expressive, robust red wines such as Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, as well as elegant whites like Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
