The Bekaa Valley lies between the two parallel mountain ranges in Lebanon. It is a very fertile land irrigated by the Litany river and is the largest agricultural area in Lebanon, with an advanced winery industry of international standards. It is the tip of the Great Rift Valley that stretches into Africa. The Phoenician inscriptions of 1400 BC described Bekaa as the ‘Place for the Gods’.
This is a pretty pink rosé is a noble blend of 40% Cinsault, 30% Tempranillo and 30% Syrah. Spicy notes and loads of strawberry and summer fruits This is a fuller bodied rosé with warm southern flavours of lush wild strawberries with a zesty spicy finish.
Food recommendations: Spicy antipasti, trout steamed with chilli, Tabbouleh, Baba Ghanoush with olive oil, lemon & garlic, grilled lamb.
