Description

A deliciously black Bordelaise blend from this award winning winery in Banghoek, Stellenbosch. It has 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Malbec 9% Cabernet Franc, and small amounts of Merlot and Pet Verdot. A Bordeaux blend so this is quite serious wine but with an underlying depth of dark brambly fruit, rich and plummy with hints of warm cloves leading to a satisfying finish with grippy but well-integrated tannins. The cinnamon spice on the nose, the black cherry and mulberry fruit on the palate make this wine a pleasure to drink.
