Millstone Dutch Single malt, exclusively matured in oloroso sherry casks, rich and decadently sweet

Superb whisky from the Zuidam distillery in the Netherlands. This single malt as been matured exclusively in oloroso sherry casks, creating a nutty fruity character. Elegant aromas to the nose such as cooked apples, nutmeg and cinnamon with sultana and prune. The palate has hints of chocolatey malt and honeyed barley with rich toffee, coffee and fresh orange mint. The finish is extra special, with more chocolate, soaked raisins and walnuts. Rich and decadently sweet.
