Fantastic aromatic persistence, aged for 10 years
Beautiful amber colour sustained with gold reflections. Rich and complex nose: candied prunes, walnuts, rancio and vanilla. Powerful mouth, very rich and unctuous, with great aromatic persistence. The finish is very long. Intense glass background of prunes.

The Domaine de Malartic is owned the Périssé family for 5 generations, located in Sarragachies in the Gers, southwestern France. The family’s winegrowers have perpetuated the Gascon tradition by producing Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne since its creation, then Côtes de Gascogne wines since 2001. The terroir is made of plateaus with boulbènes on grebb and the vineyard extends on the slopes looking at the Pyrenees.
THE GRADINGS: VS is the youngest and the letters stand for Very Special. (ageing is a minimum of 3 years). VSOP is next and the letters stand for Very Superior Old Pale. (ageing is a minimum of 5 years. XO can only be used in the eau-de-vie that has been aged for at least 10 years)
