135 East Hyogo Dry Gin is batch distilled both with essentially Japanese and traditional London Dry style botanicals. The result is a perfect balance of complexity & harmony, a truly Japanese spirit, named after the Akashi Meridian at 135 degrees east longitude which runs past their distillery in Akashi city. This gin marks the centenary of the start of the Yonezawa family’s history in distilling fine Japanese craft spirits. Loads of citrus fruit to start – yuzu and the spice of Sancho pepper. Other botanicals are shiso leaf, cedar and chrysanthemum. Something different from the ‘craft craze’. Japan is associated with the idea of ultimate quality. ‘WOW”
